Our Story
About Shadöccult
Shadöccult was created by Canadian composer & multi-instrumentalist Martin Breton in 2019. This unique cinematic metal experience features dark classical influences and operatic vocals. Their debut self-titled album was released March 25, 2020.
Martin studied voice, piano and percussion at Lakehead University, earning his Honours Bachelors of Arts degree as well as a Bachelor of Education. He has shared the stage with the Thunder Bay Symphony Chorus, Kings College Choir, Jeans n’ Classics and Video Games Live.
Through various side projects and session work Martin has performed with opening acts for artists like Big Wreck, Danko Jones, Anvil, Tech N9ne and Xzibit. His original compositions can be found in advertisements, short films, and other media locally and internationally.
